Privacy policy

Form has no account and no server. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking or any third-party code. What you put into Form stays on your iPhone. GRYD cannot see it.

GRYD AS, Norway, makes Form. Write to form@gryd.no about anything in this policy.

Your habits and schedules, what you completed and when, your check-ins and mood, XP, levels and accolades, reminders and alarm settings. If you choose to add them, it also keeps your name, birth year, gender and a profile photo. Your name, photo and birth year appear only in your profile. Gender tailors habit suggestions.

This data is stored in the app’s own space on your iPhone and shared with Form’s widgets. It is included in your iPhone or iCloud backup if you have backups turned on, under your Apple settings.

If you allow it, Form reads step count, sleep, walking workouts and mindful minutes to complete habits for you and show them on your day. If you turn on State of Mind, Form writes the mood from your check-ins to Health. Health data is used only for these features. It stays on your iPhone and is never used for advertising or shared.

If you speak a habit, Form listens only while you record and turns speech into text on your iPhone. The audio is not kept.

Plan with AI, the daily reading and the weekly write-up use Apple’s on-device model. When Apple Intelligence is not available, Form uses its own reader on your iPhone. No words or audio are sent to GRYD or to any AI service.

Reminders and the morning alarm are scheduled on your iPhone. Widgets, Shortcuts and Spotlight read from Form on the device. Requests you make to Siri are handled by Apple under your Siri settings.

Form+ is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, and GRYD never receives your payment details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to purchases.

Form keeps your data until you delete it or the app. In Settings › Data management you can export your data as a file, import it again, or delete everything with Delete all data. Deleting the app also deletes its data. Mood that Form wrote to Health can be removed in the Health app. Copies in your own backups stay under your control.

You can withdraw Health, microphone, speech recognition and notification access at any time in iOS Settings.

Form is not made for children under 13.

When you email form@gryd.no, we use your address and message only to help you, and keep them only as long as the conversation needs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data about you, and object to or restrict its use. Because the app keeps your data on your iPhone and not with us, you can see, export and delete it yourself in the app. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.

If Form ever starts to handle data differently, we will update this policy before the change ships and change the date at the top.
